Our Car Wash Pit Cleaner line-up is designed for reliability, economy, and efficiency. They are built from heavy gauge steel to withstand many years of heavy use. There are units sold in the 1970’s still service today.

The “clamshell” bucket models work so well that you’ll wonder how you ever got along without one, and with the rising costs of paying someone else to do wash bay pit cleaning for you, these machines are cost effective, even for smaller operations.

Our Vacuum models allow you to clean wash bay pits with limited access (such as manhole cover access) and efficiently clean up to 15 feet (4.6 m) deep.

Just wanted you to know that after four years of using the 2000T pit digger I purchased from Ring-O-Matic was and remains the most indispensable piece of equipment I own. It really has made my life easier.  The one time I had a problem you bent over backwards to make sure everything was better than new. I wish all companies did business like Ring-O-Matic. Thanks for a great piece of equipment.

    — Jim Monk, Monk’s Car Wash

The first machine we bought was a used 500C (in the truck box model) in 1979. We upgraded to our first new 1000T in 1994 and pull it with a 1/2 ton 4×4 truck. We use it in our own car wash business and do a lot of custom cleaning also.  We usually buy a new one every 3 years as there is always market for a good, used machine. The 1000T works very well and is easy to operate and unload pit waste. We wouldn’t consider anything else but the best in pit cleaner technology.

    — Craig Zylstra, Classic Car Wash

We clean several different washes on a scheduled rotation. One wash we acquired hadn’t been cleaned for a long time and was all dry-packed. It was a lot of work, but our 850 Deep Vac Pit Cleaner worked fine with no issues. We use our 850 to clean pits in most of the washes we service. We also have a 1000T pit cleaner that works well for us.

    — Gary Fisher, Quality Pit Cleaning

I have a 500T from the mid 80’s and I can say it has been a workhorse. I’ve put it to use many times at my washes and also doing pits for quite a few other washes on a regular basis. It was some of the best money ever spent.

Purchased a Ring-O-Matic (500T) way back in 1994. This is the clam shell version that mounts in the back of a pick up truck. To me, it’s the BEST machine to get the job done with the LEAST amount of effort. No heavy lifting, no holding onto a vacuum hose that can literally knock you on the ground. I would not clean my car wash pits any other way. I’m even thinking about adding the 1000T unit for pit cleaning, also a clam shell machine.

I bought a Ring-O-Matic 2000T pit digger about eight years ago. I asked for a special modification I wanted to try and they added it without any cost increase. At delivery time they met me half way at no charge! After about two years of use I had a major problem with the hyd. cylinders (they shattered) and were out of warranty. I called them and explained the situation and without any hesitation they said they would come pick it up and repair it. One of the owners came, repaired it like new and brought it back to me at NO CHARGE! Ring-O-Matic is absolutely the best company I have ever dealt with.
